E&I work preparator / coordinator
What will you do
The Work Preparator Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) is part of the TAQA Project Team covering the execution of the P18-A platform modification scope which is executed on behalf of Porthos. The Work Preparator E&I checks the work packs that are prepared by third party vendors and ensures the work packs confirm to TAQA standards and are ready for safe execution.
The work prep/coordinator will have daily contact with the E&I contractor on site for support and to solve potential issues in consultation with the engineering department.
What we search for in you
We’re happy to hear from professionals with at least an MBO 4 Education Mechanical Engineering and/or E&I and 5+ years relevant experience in the Onshore and Offshore sectors. In this role you'll require both Dutch and English language skills.
We'd like to see as many of the following skills on your CV:
VCA Basic or VOL
Electrical: LV and HV installations, E-motors, transformers
Instrumentation: Valves including actuators, measuring and control systems, DCS, PLC, networks, PLC OMS (Siemens PLC, Toshiba PLC, etc.)
Experience with and knowledge of Offshore technical installations and technical drawings and P&IDs.
BOSIET0.5A (Basic Offshore Safety Introduction & Emergency Training) and H2S0.8 NOPEGA
Extensive knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
Experience with MRP systems such as SAP, Maximo, Oracle
Living in the Netherlands

Who are we
We focus on the on- and offshore production of oil and gas as well as the operation of two underground gas storage facilities. The latter are strategic assets in the reliable provision of gas in the Netherlands. Their importance will only increase in the coming years as the greater dependence on gas imports will mean domestic storage becomes key to maintaining security of supply.
The energy landscape in the Netherlands is changing, and TAQA is supporting the energy transition in two key ways: we are contributing to continuity of gas supply in the short-term as the transition agenda moves forward. We are also participating in large-scale sustainability developments such as hydrogen and green gas expertise center Investa and Porthos, a CO₂ capture and storage project.
